Cheesesteak "Wit" Ketchup Ruckus in Fla.

Let me preface by saying I believe in free speech...and taste...to a point.

When someone puts ketchup on a cheesesteak, the line has been crossed.

Subway doesn't exactly make the most authentic Philly cheesesteaks.  In fact, they probably make the world's LEAST authentic Philly cheesesteaks.  But at the end of the day, a Philly cheesesteak is a Philly cheesesteak, and there's an honor code.

Last week, a customer named Luis Martinez went to a Subway in Orlando, Florida and violated the Philly cheesesteak honor code . . . when he blasphemously asked for KETCHUP on his cheesesteak.

And the Subway sandwich artist, Lawrence Ordone, had too much artistic integrity for THAT.

Lawrence started YELLING at Luis for asking for ketchup . . . and then came out from behind the counter to FIGHT HIM.

Luis ran off and called 911.  Lawrence was not arrested, but he was fired from the Subway.
