Summit is a roughly 3-year-old terrier mix who has been at the shelter for over 800 days, since being dumped by his former owner. This striking young man absolutely loves being in the great outdoors and would do well with an avid hiker. With a zest for life, Summit has a lot of energy. Though, once he has the opportunity to burn some of it off, he settles and is an absolute doll! He loves playing with all sorts of toys and has a good start on his basic commands. The perfect home for Summit would be one without small children who could be bowled over if this gangly boy gets a case of the zoomies. He could do will with a canine companion, or possibly even a feline, as he has lived with a cat in the past. If you're looking for a four-legged companion to explore the trails, Summit could be the perfect pup for you!
